Elettra Bargiacchi is a passionate sound designer and composer who specializes in creating unique and immersive audio experiences. With years of experience in the audio field, Elettra has worked on a wide range of projects, including film, podcasts, installations and research.
Elettra is member of the VDT R&D Department (Verband Deutscher Tonmeister, Union of the German Sound Engineers) with a regular column on the VDT Magazin. She is currently Visiting Researcher at the University of Surrey (UK) in the field of Media Personalisation and Immersive Audio, with a project called The Changing Forest realised in collaboration with BBC R&D, with publications at AES New York Conference 2024 and I3DA 2025.

Elettra holds a Master's Degree in classical guitar and has studied composition in Milan (Italy) at Conservatory G.Verdi and C.Abbado International Academy.
She is also an AVID Certified Pro Tools Professional for audio post production and Certified Pro Tools Operator.
In 2023 she completed the Advanced Diploma in Audio Post Production for Film at Abbey Road Institute in London (UK), a division of the famous Abbey Road Studios.
In 2023 she also accomplished the advanced training as Post Production Supervisor at IAMA e.V. in Halle (Germany).

Attention to detail, technical skills and creative approach are the main ingredients of her work. She is used to work remotely with international teams and adapt to the different needs each project require.

Elettra is currently actively playing as musician in the projects Ganbatte Mon Amour and Seeding Stories. She is co-host of the Radio Broadcast Italorama, a show included in the Radio Blau station line-up.
